Tributes Pour In for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of esteemed film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the pair.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, stated he just recently felt able to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Enough time has elapsed that I can at last express my sorrow into words," wrote Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner created an instant bond. "Once we started spending more time together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the production, remarking that he cannot recall "one day without laughter".

"This story is about affection, allegiance and giving. Values that Rob valued immensely. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes expressed.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a incredible duo would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Fellow Artist

In a different essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked wonderfully with his co-stars, and he grasped the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese noted.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to block the disclosure of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A judicial mandate placed a security hold on the investigation to limit the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" associated with the active case.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a official listing listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Response and Criticism

After the deaths, public individuals expressed varying reactions.

Former President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making divisive claims that were met with immediate backlash by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the critics last week. Speaking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the remarks as "shocking" and implied they revealed a worrisome absence of compassion.

Rogan concluded by suggesting that an adviser ought to have acted when the choice to speak on the passing was made.
