Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear in the upcoming Hunger Games series instalment, Sunrise on the Reaping.
Reports indicate that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their iconic roles in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.
A Significant Return to Panem
The duo will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. It is believed their roles will likely occur in a brief glimpse ahead, considering the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.
This signifies the sixth film in the blockbuster Hunger Games franchise.

Sunrise on the Reaping is based upon a 2025 novel by author Suzanne Collins. It will be the second prequel film after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Returning to the director's chair is Francis Lawrence, who was behind the majority of the previous films in the series.
