FC Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years following their departure for construction to commence.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
